Upofloor Hardwood Flooring

Originating in Finland, Upofloor offers a unique and high quality engineered wood flooring that is most often installed in a "floating" method. Unusual in that the flooring itself is not fastened to the floor via nails or glue, but rather, sits on the floor in an integral, interlocked system. Each board is comprised of several plies of wood, with a top layer that gives an appearance of "strip" flooring. The top plies of hardwood consist of 1, 2, or 3 strips in a board width. Fastened together, each board "floats" on the floor beneath it. Ideal for remodeling sites, there is greater flexibility in appropriate applications for this product. Whether going over new, wood subfloor, sheet vinyl floors, or older, uneven floors Upofloor, floating provides a superior wood floor with high quality finishes. Ideal for over radiant heating systems!
